Arendt, a law firm specialising in Luxembourg law, has expanded its international presence with the opening of a new office in Frankfurt. This move is aimed at enhancing their services for German-speaking clients and those involved in the German market.
Claude Niedner, co-chair at Arendt, highlighted that the Frankfurt office will continue the firm’s tradition of providing expertise in Luxembourg law, tax, regulatory, consulting, and investor services. The office aims to be a central point of contact for German-speaking and international clients focused on the German market.
Constanze Jacobs, the Frankfurt-based head of office, emphasized Arendt’s enhanced capability to guide asset managers and investors in the Luxembourg market or those interested in the Luxembourg fund centre. The presence in Frankfurt will allow Arendt to better address the legal needs and market practices relevant to German clients, especially in structuring Luxembourg products and transactions.
The Frankfurt office will be led by Jacobs, supported by Paul Hoffmann, senior associate in investment management. Philipp Jost and Dominik Pauly will coordinate activities between the Frankfurt office and Arendt’s headquarters in Luxembourg.
Approximately one-third of the 450 legal experts at Arendt are German speakers, including those with dual qualification in Luxembourg and Germany.
