PwC Luxembourg is enhancing its real estate capabilities with the addition of new partner Pierre Wauthier, a veteran with over two decades of experience in Luxembourg’s real estate and deal markets. Wauthier joins the firm after three years at law firm Arendt & Medernach, which had joined in 2020 after nine years at PwC.
Prior to this new role, Wauthier wore many hats: He was an Environmental Engineer, the Director of engineering firm PROgena SA, Managing Director at PwC Sc, and Real Estate Lead Advisor at Arendt & Medernach. Over the years, he’s served as an advisor to a wide range of real estate organisations, from startups to established companies, and has developed particular expertise in technical real estate topics and transaction management.
In his new role as Advisory Partner for Corporate Finance and Real Estate at PwC Luxembourg, Wauthier is optimistic about the value he can add. “Joining a team that already excels in corporate finance, advisory, tax, and audit allows me to bring my experience into a setting where it can make a real impact. We’re poised to offer even more comprehensive services to our clients,” Wauthier said in a statement.
‘Offering differentiated services’
Grégoire Huret, Corporate Finance Leader at PwC Luxembourg, shared his excitement about Wauthier’s arrival. “Pierre brings a unique blend of expertise that will support our robust growth in the real estate and alternatives sectors. His skills will be invaluable in offering differentiated services to the local market,” Huret stated.
René Paulussen, the Alternatives Leader at PwC Luxembourg, also welcomed Wauthier enthusiastically. “Pierre’s multi-disciplinary skill set in areas such as real estate transactions, due diligence, sustainable development, and renewable energy, coupled with his extensive network in the Benelux market, make him an asset who will help us serve a broad array of clients. His addition will undoubtedly elevate PwC Luxembourg’s standing in the market,” Paulussen said.
