Barry’s experience also includes acting for  a wide range of fund service providers, including investment managers, administrators, depositaries,  management companies, and AIFMs, said the international law firm which also appointed four new partners and five counsels  to its Dublin, London, Jersey and Luxembourg law firms, further strengthening its deep bench of  expertise in the region.

Luc Mouzon

Amundi, one of Europe’s largest asset managers, said Luc Mouzon will head its new Equity Capital Markets desk, to be known as its first “ECM desk”. The aim of this desk is to provide investors with access to Europe’s equity raising operations, as European companies are poised to increasingly tap equity markets for their financing needs in the coming years. The newly created desk will aim to help banks gauge investor appetite for upcoming equity issuances, including in particular IPOs as well, said Amundi.

“In the current market context, it is paramount to be in the position to offer our clients access to Europe’s most dynamic investment opportunities,” said Vincent Mortier, Chief Investment officer at Amundi, in a press release. “I am convinced the Amundi ECM desk will act as a partner of choice for European companies in their IPOs process, and will ultimately contribute to reinforcing the attractiveness of Europe as a financial centre.”
