Chantal Free has been appointed at the new chief executive officer at Ocorian, a global asset services provider that also is present in Luxembourg.
Free joins Ocorian from Capita where she was CEO of their portfolio division, leading a portfolio of businesses across a range of sectors including insurance, legal, consulting and technology. Previously she spent 23 years at Willis Towers Watson, a global risk and people consulting and brokerage firm, where she held several senior roles in Asia and Europe.
“Chantal will be a great addition to our business as we continue our global growth journey,” said Frederik van Tuyll, Chair of Ocorian, in a statement. “Her strong client focus and diverse business experience across Asia and Europe will be invaluable as we continue to grow our product portfolio and client base globally.”
Ocorian is a global provider of corporate and fiduciary services, fund administration and capital markets and employs over 1,500 professionals. In Luxembourg Ocorian employed 28 people at the end of last year. The firm manages over 17,000 investment structures on behalf of 8,000+ clients including financial institutions, large-scale international organisations, and high-net-worth individuals.
