DNCA Finance, a Paris-based boutique investment firm that is part of Natixis group, said on Friday it has hired Jo Switten and Nicolas Dubuisson, who both until recently worked for Carmignac, to strengthen its sales team for the Belgian and Luxembourg markets. 

Switten and Dubuisson will join Thomas Péan and Astrid Debast in the team responsible for the Belux market. In their new role, they will be responsible for providing a strong local presence in the commercial development of the range in the various distribution channels, such as platforms, brokers, private banks and institutions.

Nicolas Dubuisson joins as Business Development Director Belux. After graduating from the Catholic University of Louvain-la-Neuve with a Master’s degree in Management Sciences in 2011, he began his career at KPMG Belgium, before moving into private banking and investment consulting in 2013. Between 2018 and 2022, he held a similar position at Carmignac to the one he will now hold at DNCA Finance.

Jo Switten joins from Carmignac and will serve as Business Development Director Belux. After graduating from Hasselt University in 2004, he worked in investment and private banking at Société Générale Private Banking, before joining Carmignac.

DNCA Finance, which has some 29 billion euro in assets under management, said its Belgian market offers “favourable prospects” and “remains strategic” for the group’s international development. Holding assets of approximately 1,245 billion euro, Natixis is oen of the world’s largest investment groups.
