Investment Officer has received a make-over. Its aim is to provide users with a better overview and better arrangement of articles and sections on the website.
Investment Officer in Belgium and Luxembourg and Fondsnieuws in the Netherlands are part of the FD Mediagroep, publisher of among others Het Financieele Dagblad. Fondsnieuws was founded in the summer of 2008 and is the largest platform for investment professionals in the Netherlands. At the request of the market, Investment Officer was added in Belgium in 2018 and in Luxembourg in 2020.
There is some overlap between the three platforms, such as interviews with portfolio managers and investment strategists of the large, global fund houses. Usually these are relevant to all platforms. The same is increasingly true for legislation and regulations that originate from the European Union and have a major impact on investment services in all EU member states.
‘Now that investment services are increasingly taking place at a European level, it is good that we are growing along with the development of a BeNeLux platform,’ says publisher Jasper Staring.
‘Both our users and our partners are asking for it. Bearing in mind our mission to “help the market move forward”, we are trying to develop a dashboard where our users can retrieve the information relevant to them on a daily basis and where our partners can communicate their knowledge and expertise to the market.’
