This week’s overview of transfers, appointments, promotions and other people news includes updates from M&G, Oraxys, Kroll, Crestbridge and Julius Baer.
Kelly Hébert
Kelly Hébert (photo) has been appointed as head of France at M&G Investments, in parallel to her role as head of Belgium and Luxembourg. She replaces Brice Anger, who has decided to leave M&G after a 16-year career with the company.
Hébert will continue to support the Belux market, the firm said, together with her team that includes: Stacey Notteboom, Loïc Pouget, Daan Steenbeke and Jesper Vanden Bossche. There will be no change in the investment teams, the firm said.
Simone Pini and Brice Masselot
Simone Pini and Brice Masselot have been appointed as managing directors at Luxembourg private equity firm Oraxys. Pini and Masselot worked together for more than a decade at Cube Infrastructure Managers. Oraxys focuses on investment in European SMEs that market environment-friendly products and services.
Elena Moisei
Elena Moisei has been appointed as the managing director at asset services firm Kroll in Luxembourg. She will lead the Luxembourg portfolio valuations practice, strengthening the firm’s valuation advisory services across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. She joins Kroll from EY and is a member of the Luxembourg Valuation Professionals Association, LVPA.
Craig Leitch
Craig Leitch has been appointed as director of real estate services at Crestbridge. In his new role he will be responsible for the management of a portfolio of complex corporate real estate clients. Craig’s appointment adds weight to Crestbridge’s multijurisdictional real estate services team, which provides comprehensive support to asset managers including managing the administrative, accounting, reporting, residency and governance needs of a broad range of real estate structures throughout their lifecycle.
Roman Berri and Patrick Roefs
Roman Berri is named the new head of fund offering at Julius Baer. He will replace Patrick Roefs who is stepping down on 1 February. After 16 years at the firm, Roefs will pursue a new opportunity.
Berri spent six years with UBS as a hedge fund specialist, which included working on its investment management team, as well as leading the investment product solutions team and as global head of hedge funds.
