This week’s overview of people transfers and appointments includes updates from Alter Domus, State Street, Ogier, Arendt, Citi Securities Services, Triodos Bank and Utmost Group.

Alter Domus

Isabel Gomez Vidal has been appointed chief commercial officer at Alter Domus and will join the group executive board. She brings over twenty years of experience in commercial strategy and growth leadership in financial data and technology.

Gomez Vidal joins from Dun & Bradstreet, where she was chief revenue officer and helped lead its transformation into a more data-driven and client-focused firm. She previously spent sixteen years at Moody’s Analytics, where she oversaw global sales and was closely involved in integrating acquisitions such as Bureau van Dijk and RMS.

Her appointment follows the recent naming of incoming CEO Charlotte Hogg and reflects Alter Domus’s continued investment in its senior leadership team. “Isabel’s expertise in go-to-market strategy and leading high-performing teams will be vital as we scale,” stated Hogg.

Gomez Vidal also serves on the advisory boards of the Posse Foundation and Quantum Metrics, and is a member of the American Society of AI in New York.

State Street SPDR ETFs

Philippe Roset will step down at the end of August as head of Northern Europe at State Street SPDR ETFs. He held the role for nearly ten years, during which assets under management in SPDR Ucits ETFs grew from 12.5 billion dollars to over 100 billion dollars.

Roset, based in Amsterdam, was involved in product launches, client partnerships, and the firm’s marketing and public relations efforts across the region. He has yet to announce his new role.

Ogier

Yann Payen has joined the corporate team at law firm Ogier in Luxembourg. He brings around seventeen years of experience advising on mergers and acquisitions, private equity, venture capital, joint ventures, debt securities, and corporate governance.

Ogier also announced a round of promotions. In Luxembourg, Fabiana Popescu and Lucie Steinmetz have been promoted to managing associate, while Laurianne Vessot and Maddalena Bonamini Leitner become senior associates.

In its fund services division, Mafalda Da Silva Pereira has been promoted to accountant in Luxembourg. Carine Boutin is now senior business development manager, and Mike Gueguen becomes assistant manager on the IT service desk.

Arendt

Julien Delpy has been appointed director of marketing and communication at Arendt, succeeding Marie-Adélaïde Leclercq-Olhagaray. He took up the role on 16 June and now oversees internal and external communication, marketing, and events.

Delpy brings over twenty years of international experience in strategic marketing, communications, and business development. He was previously head of markets and communications at EY Luxembourg, where he led a multidisciplinary team focused on brand strategy, media relations, digital marketing, and client engagement.

Leclercq-Olhagaray led Arendt’s communication function for the past decade and will now focus on her consultancy business.

Citi Securities Services

Roel van de Wiel has joined Citi Securities Services as head of sales for the Netherlands and the Nordics, effective 1 August. He announced the move on Linkedin.

Van de Wiel spent the past five and a half years at SS&C Technologies and previously held senior roles at Société Générale Securities Services, where he led sales and relationship management. His earlier experience includes positions at State Street and JP Morgan Securities Services.

Citi Securities Services is one of the world’s largest global custodians, with approximately 28,000 billion dollars in assets under custody.

Triodos Bank

Barbara van Duijn has been appointed chief information officer of Triodos Bank, with effect from the extraordinary general meeting scheduled for 26 September. Until then, she will act as special adviser to the board.

Van Duijn currently serves as group director for digital and technology. According to the bank, she will lead its digital transformation, which is intended to strengthen the use of data and artificial intelligence. The CIO role replaces the position of chief operating officer, meaning current COO Nico Kronemeijer will step down.

Utmost Group

Alma Nasufović has joined Utmost Group in Luxembourg as a KYC officer. She previously worked in compliance roles and will focus on know-your-customer procedures as part of the firm’s regulatory operations. Utmost provides insurance and savings solutions.
