Jacco Maters will step down as chief executive officer and chief investment officer of Anthos Fund & Asset Management at the end of July, he announced on Linkedin. He has held both roles for more than 7 years. Anthos’ offer as Amsterdam-based multi-family office is built around Luxembourg-anchored fund structures.

Maters previously served as chief executive officer and chief investment officer at Delta Lloyd Asset Management. Earlier in his career, he held roles at ABN Amro, Lombard Odier Darier Hentsch and Allianz, including positions in portfolio management and as group head of equities and derivatives. His next role has not been disclosed.

Morgan Stanley

Former German finance minister Jörg Kukies will join Morgan Stanley after leaving politics. Kukies is expected to take on a senior role covering continental Europe, marking a return to investment banking after more than 7 years in government.

Kukies previously worked at Goldman Sachs before entering public office. Details of his new role have not been confirmed, and the timing of his start remains subject to a mandatory cooling-off period for former government officials.

Partners Group

Swiss-based Partners Group has appointed Pete Zippelius as co-head of its private equity health and life vertical, effective September 2026. He will share leadership with Benjamin Breier and oversee new investments and value creation initiatives across the global portfolio.

Zippelius joins from Leonard Green & Partners, where he was investment partner and a member of the investment and operating committees, leading healthcare and life sciences investments. Partners Group has invested approximately 13.2 billion dollars in the health and life sector to date.

PGIM 

PGIM has appointed Robert Sockin as U.S. economist, effective immediately. He joins the firm’s global economics team led by Daleep Singh, vice chair and chief global economist, and will be responsible for shaping PGIM’s views on the U.S. economy, contributing to investment processes and engaging with clients.

Sockin joins from Citigroup Research, where he served as senior global economist. Earlier in his career, he held roles at the Federal Reserve Board and the U.S. Treasury, as well as senior economist positions at UBS and SPX Capital. PGIM is a global asset manager with 1,500 billion dollars in assets under management.

Intesa Sanpaolo

Intesa Sanpaolo Bank Luxembourg has appointed Sarah Khabirpour as director, with a mandate running until the 2027 annual general meeting. She has served as an independent director since 2021.

Khabirpour previously held senior roles in Luxembourg’s financial sector, including chief compliance officer at Banque de Luxembourg until 2020. Earlier, she was head of strategy, regulatory affairs and marketing and communications at Banque Internationale à Luxembourg, where she was a member of the extended executive committee.
