Cardif Lux Vie, a life insurance subsidiary of BNP Paribas, has appointed Arnaud de Dumast as chief executive officer, effective April 1, 2026. He succeeds Alexandre Draznieks, who has led the Luxembourg life insurer since 2022 and will take on new responsibilities within the BNP Paribas group. 

De Dumast began his career in 1994 at HR Gestion before joining Neuflize OBC in 1998, where he held senior roles in portfolio management, marketing and financial management. He joined the firm’s management committee in 2006. Cardif Lux Vie operates in Luxembourg and several European markets including France, Italy, Belgium, Spain and Portugal.

His appointment is subject to approval by Luxembourg’s insurance regulator, the Commissariat aux Assurances.

JP Morgan Private Bank

JP Morgan Private Bank has appointed Frank Wolters as executive director and wealth manager. He joins the team at the firm’s Amsterdam office.

Wolters previously worked at ING Netherlands as wealth manager for the north-east region of the country. Earlier in his career, he spent more than 12 years at ABN Amro and ABN Amro MeesPierson, including roles as director of relationship management in Apeldoorn, ’t Gooi and Rotterdam.

Nuveen expands leadership role in DACH region

Nuveen has expanded the role of Christina Volkmann, who will now lead the firm’s client business across Germany, Austria and Switzerland as managing director. She oversees all client segments in the region across both liquid and private market strategies and was appointed by Harriet Steel, head of global institutional distribution at Nuveen.

Volkmann joined Nuveen in December 2021 and initially led the insurer client segment in Central Europe. She was promoted to head of Germany in May 2024. Earlier in her career, she spent 8 years at Invesco, where she helped build the German institutional business and led coverage of insurance and ESG-focused clients.

Blackstone boosts DACH family office business

Blackstone has appointed Lucio Solms-Lich as managing director in its European Private Capital Group. Based in Frankfurt, he will cover family offices across Germany, Austria and Switzerland and report to Edward Simmons, who leads the group from London.

Solms-Lich joins from Morgan Stanley, where he spent more than 25 years. Most recently he served as managing director after previously working as executive director in investment management, overseeing investment products across asset classes including equities, bonds, private markets and multi-asset strategies. At Morgan Stanley, he also led the family office business for the DACH region.
