
This week’s overview of people transfers and appointments includes updates from Flow Traders and Blackrock.
Flow Traders
Thomas Spitz has been appointed chief executive officer of Flow Traders, the Amsterdam-based market maker announced. He succeeds Mike Kuehnel, who announced his departure earlier this year.
Spitz joins from French data analytics firm QuantCube Technology, where he served as CEO for the Middle East. He previously spent 21 years at Crédit Agricole, including several years overseeing the bank’s global trading division.
Blackrock
Jevon Ong has joined Blackrock as a manager and research analyst in fixed income, according to his Linkedin post.
He previously worked at NN Group for three years as an investment professional within the investment office, focusing on liquid asset classes. Earlier, he held a treasury analyst role at Eurofin in Brussels. Ong holds degrees in business administration from Leuven and financial economics from Rotterdam.
