Fundsquare, a subsidiary of the Luxembourg Stock Exchange that provides services to support and standardise cross-border distribution of investment funds, has made two leadership appointments. It’s parent company the Luxembourg Stock Exchange has appointed a new head of sustainable finance, and Intertrust has a new head of its Luxembourg office.
Fundsquare named Jeffrey Nadal as its new managing director and chief commercial officer, and appointed Julien Renkin as a director of product management & client solutions.
Nadal specialises in the fund industry and brings 20 years of experience from the Luxembourg financial sector, with a specific focus on building strategic co-operations. Renkin has held various management positions at Fundsquare since joinging the company 14 years ago.
LuxSE
Fundsquare’s parent company the Luxembourg Stock Exchange (LuxSE) announced the appointment of Laetitia Hamon as the company’s head of sustainable finance. As from 15 July, she has taken the reins of LuxSE’s sustainable finance team and the company’s platform for sustainable securities, the Luxembourg Green Exchange (LGX). Hamon’s previous positions include ESG and Fund Analyst, as well as Business Development Officer for LuxFLAG.
Intertrust
Trust management company Intertrust has named Nick Maton as the new head of its Luxembourg office. With nearly 30 years of experience in the financial services industry, covering both the buy and sell side, Nick will be responsible for the leadership and growth of the Luxembourg team.
Prior to joining Intertrust Nick was Managing Director and Head of Securities Services for HSBC Luxembourg and a member of the European Executive team responsible for leading and executing the business strategy. During his tenure, he successfully grew the Luxembourg business from $65bn to $225bn of assets under administration, covering all asset classes. Nick is a UK national and spent 14 years in London before moving to Luxembourg in 2006.
