Langham Hall, a fund administration, depositary and AIFMD services provider, has appointed Elijah Kanevskiy as head of Luxembourg. He joins from Revantage Europe, a Blackstone portfolio company, where he was chief financial officer and a director of several Blackstone-managed real estate investment entities.

Kanevskiy has more than 20 years of experience in real estate and private markets. He will lead Langham Hall’s 260-person team in Luxembourg, overseeing fund launches and ongoing operations.

Aviva Investors

Josien PiekAviva Investors has appointed Josien Piek as head of Benelux and Nordics business development. Based in Amsterdam, she will also serve as branch manager and report to Steven Gardner, head of Emea institutional.

She joins from Ninety One Asset Management, where she was sales director. Piek has more than 20 years of experience working with institutional asset owners across the Nordics and Benelux.

DZ Privatbank

DZ Privatbank is reshaping its top management with Luxembourg playing a more prominent role. Chief executive Peter Schirmbeck will step down on June 30, 2026, and Arasch Charifi, 56, will succeed him on July 1. Charifi joined the bank in 2021 and has served on the management board since early 2024. He will continue to oversee private banking, treasury and brokerage, and portfolio management, while also taking on group strategy, governance bodies and marketing.

Luxembourg features in the wider reshuffle. Patrick Lang has succeeded Charifi as head of sales for private banking and Luxcredit in Germany, Luxembourg and Switzerland. Torsten Kröff has led the newly created West and Luxembourg region since March. The unit combines the Düsseldorf and Luxembourg offices. The changes were first reported by Private Banking Magazin,

Under Schirmbeck, client assets under management rose from 16 billion euros in early 2019 to more than 30 billion euros at the end of 2025. Annual net profit increased from 36 million euros to 105 million euros.

Trustmoore

Trustmoore has appointed Sabrina El Abbadi as managing director governance, legal and compliance in Luxembourg, pending regulatory approval. She joins from Tikehau Capital, where she built and led the firm’s Luxembourg operations.

El Abbadi has more than 10 years of experience in Luxembourg financial services, with a focus on alternative investments and governance. She is also involved in industry initiatives linked to the Luxembourg Private Equity & Venture Capital Association.

Edmond de Rothschild AM

Edmond de Rothschild Asset Management has appointed Cédric Van Kerrebroeck as sales representative for Belgium. He joins the team led by Nicolas Bonardo, head of sales France BeLux.

Van Kerrebroeck joins from Fenthum in Luxembourg, where he coordinated distribution of the Ethenea and Mainfirst funds. He will focus on business development with professional clients in Belgium and on managing existing client and consultant relationships.

Pia Group

Pia Group, the Ghent-based accountancy and advisory firm, has hired Cédric Desmet to support growth in French-speaking Belgium. He will serve as regional director for French-speaking Belgium and Luxembourg.

Desmet spent most of his career at Robert Half, where he became regional director for Wallonia and Luxembourg.
