This week’s international overview of people transfers and appointments includes updates from Partners Group, PWC Luxembourg, the Bankers Investment Trust, and FNZ.

Partners Group

Tarak Mehta has joined Partners Group as partner and co-head of the firm’s Private Equity Goods & Products Vertical, based at the firm’s global headquarters in Baar-Zug, Switzerland. He will lead the strategy alongside Manas Tandon, focusing on sourcing investments and overseeing value creation initiatives.

Mehta was most recently CEO of The Timken Company, and previously held senior executive roles at ABB, where he served on the group’s executive committee and led its Motion and Electrification divisions. He brings over 25 years of industrial experience to the role.

The appointment reflects Partners Group’s continued focus on bringing in senior operational leaders to support its transformational investing approach.

PWC Luxembourg

Jerome Hallay has joined PWC Luxembourg as part of the Strategy& consulting team, focusing on asset management, banking, and insurance. He announced the move on Linkedin.

Hallay brings more than 25 years of cross-functional experience across the UK and continental Europe, covering traditional financial services as well as crypto, digital transformation, and AI. He previously held senior roles in strategy and product development across banking, insurance, and asset management.

The Bankers Investment Trust

Richard Clode has been appointed co-fund manager of The Bankers Investment Trust PLC, joining Alex Crooke, who has managed the portfolio since 2003. Clode will take over the North American sleeve from 31 October.

He joined Janus Henderson in 2014 and brings 22 years of experience, particularly in technology investing. The appointment follows a portfolio restructuring that reduced the number of holdings and regional sleeves to focus on high-conviction ideas.

FNZ

Ryan Beach has joined FNZ as group head of North America, based in Nebraska. He brings nearly 20 years of executive experience in wealth management and fintech, including leadership roles at F2 Strategy and Orion. He will report to group president Roman Regelman and focus on scaling FNZ’s AI-enabled platform across the U.S. and Canada.

Peter Hiom has also joined FNZ as group head of markets, based in London. The former deputy CEO of ASX will lead FNZ Markets, overseeing listed securities execution, post-trade services, and foreign exchange infrastructure. He also reports to Regelman.
