Andrew Thomas Wynn, co-founder of private equity firm Perwyn, has relocated his official residence from the United Kingdom to Luxembourg, according to a corporate filing cited by Bloomberg. The move took effect on April 7 and follows the firm’s opening of a Luxembourg subsidiary in 2025.

Wynn oversees the firm’s management and private equity investments. Perwyn operates as a pan-European investor with offices in Luxembourg, Milan and Paris and manages approximately 2.5 billion dollars in assets.

Lalux names new chairman

François Pauly has been appointed chairman of the board of directors of Lalux Group, effective May 1, 2026. He succeeds Pit Hentgen, who is stepping down after 24 years and will remain a board member.

Pauly has been a board member of Compagnie Financière La Luxembourgeoise since 1995 and chairman since 2012. Lalux is a Luxembourg-based insurance group with more than 500 employees.

Alumia adds board member from shareholder

Jeremy Albrecht has been appointed to the board of managers of Alumia, following approval by the Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier. The appointment reflects the link with shareholder Universal Investment.

Albrecht is chief executive officer and country head of Universal Investment Luxembourg and UI efa. He has more than 20 years of experience in asset servicing, client management and regulatory affairs.

Clifford Chance

Marc Mehlen has been appointed managing partner of Clifford Chance in Luxembourg, effective May 1. He succeeds Katia Gauzès.

Mehlen joined the firm in 2000 and became partner in 2007. He advises on structured debt, private credit and restructuring.
