
This week’s overview of executive appointments in and around Luxembourg includes updates from TMF Group, FNZ, Deloitte and Linklaters.
TMF Group names Ellen Stiene market head North America
TMF Group has appointed Ellen Stiene as its new market head for North America and the Caribbean. Based in the US, she will oversee the firm’s financial and corporate services across the region.
Stiene brings over 20 years of experience in asset management, custody, fund services and compliance. She previously held senior roles at Citi, J.P. Morgan and Wells Fargo. She also serves on the board of the Martha Graham Dance Company in New York.
The appointment was announced by Samir Pandiri, regional head for the Americas, British Isles, Ireland and Luxembourg.
FNZ appoints Cornelia Coman as group head of Europe
Wealth management platform FNZ has expanded its executive committee with two senior hires. Cornelia Coman joins as group head of Europe, based in London and reporting to group president Roman Regelman. She will lead FNZ’s strategy across European markets. Coman brings over two decades of experience at ING Bank and NN Group, with expertise in digital transformation and M&A.
Tom Chard becomes group head of growth, a new role overseeing FNZ’s global expansion. He joined in 2018 and previously led the firm’s North American market entry. Both executives remain on the executive committee.
Deloitte Luxembourg promotes ten senior executives
Deloitte Luxembourg has appointed eight new partners and two managing directors, effective 1 June 2025, bringing its total number of partners to 177. Seven promotions are internal, while three appointments come from other firms.
New partners include Ali El Maghraoui (from EY), Sean Murray (from Apex Group), and Sebastian Schieck. Internal promotions include Anar Heydarov, Antoine Chassagne, Luana Menezes, Maxim Pierre and Carmen Thölkes.
The two new managing directors are Anne Bellini-Damardji (from EY) and Francesco Pitotto.
Udo Prinz joins Linklaters as consultant
Linklaters has appointed Udo Prinz as consultant in its capital markets and banking practice in Luxembourg, with a focus on financial and insurance regulation.
Prinz has over 20 years of experience advising on regulatory matters, acquisitions and restructurings. He previously worked at leading law firms advising banks, insurers, reinsurers and corporates. He will support the firm’s regulatory team led by Eliane Dejardin Botelho, partner in capital markets and banking, and Raoul Heinen, partner in investment funds.
A member of the Luxembourg Bar, Prinz is active in the local financial services community and regularly contributes to professional forums on regulatory developments.
