Fund administrator Trustmoore has acquired the fundtech platform Assetcare, the company—primarily active in the Netherlands and Luxembourg—announced on Wednesday. Amsterdam-based Assetcare will continue to operate under its own name.
Trustmoore employs more than 300 people in fund administration, the structuring of investment vehicles, and areas such as governance, compliance, and reporting. The company operates from around ten locations worldwide, including Singapore, Malta, and Hong Kong. Assetcare focuses on automating administrative processes using proprietary technology and employs 34 professionals.
In a press release, Trustmoore said that integrating the Assetcare platform will strengthen its ability to deliver efficient, transparent, and scalable services across different jurisdictions. No details about the financing of the acquisition were disclosed. Two of Assetcare’s co-founders, Tom Straver and Sam Zwaan, will remain on as managing directors, while founder Bram Schrijver said in the press release that he will “gradually step back,” although he will remain closely involved in the integration process in the near term “to ensure a smooth transition.”
According to Schrijver, the acquisition will enable Assetcare to benefit from “long-term support and greater capacity to achieve its next phase of growth.” The company was founded in 2006. Since early 2025, Assetcare has been a member of Investment Officer’s Expert Panel.
