CEOs question Luxembourg’s future viability
Chief executives of Luxembourg firms are more worried about the long-term prospects for their businesses than their counterparts in other countries, according to a new survey presented on Wednesday by consultancy firm PwC.
The survey showed that only 51 percent of Luxembourg CEOs believe that their company will be economically viable for more than ten years if it continues running on the current path, compared to 59 percent of global CEOs.
BeeBonds offers €3 mln bond on Bettembourg project
Belgian crowdlending platform Beebonds is offering investors an opportunity to cofinance the Arche coliving project in Luxembourg. The investment is offered through a 3 million euro green bond, the firm said.
The Arche project is located in Bettembourg, one of Luxembourg City’s main peripheral municipalities. It is the first joint project of the company Picaroon SA. This Luxembourg-based company, founded in 2011, is active in the sale, rental and purchase of ships, as well as in setting up real estate projects.

CSSF held back Alter Domus fine announcement for a year
Luxembourg’s financial supervisor CSSF this week announced that it, at the end of 2021, presented management company Alter Domus with a fine of 174,000 euro relating to the collapsed Columna Commodities fund.
This Luxembourg fund, created in 2013, went into liquidation in 2017, a year before the sale of its manager, Luxembourg Fund Partners, or LFP, to Alter Domus. CSSF said the fine was issued on 1 December 2021, more than a year ago.
