Luxembourg-headquartered Alter Domus, an international provider of tech-enabled fund administration, private debt, and corporate services for the alternative investment industry, has appointed Michael Janiszewski as its new Chief Operating Officer.
Janiszewski joins from BNY Mellon, where he served as Chief Operating Officer for its securities services and digital business. In his new role he will report to Doug Hart, Alter Domus Chief Executive Officer. He will also join Alter Domus’ Group Executive Board, the firm said. He will be based in New York.
Janiszewski brings significant executive experience in leading the operations of global organizations, the firm said. His 20+ year track record spans business & strategy development, business transformation, operational excellence, and digital innovation.

Janiszweski holds a BA in Electrical Engineering and a Certificate in Applications of Computing from Princeton University, and an MBA in Finance, Accounting, Strategy, and Entrepreneurship from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
Alter Domus was founded 20 years in Luxembourg and since then has grown to provide fund administrations services to some 85 percent of the world’s 30 biggest asset managers. The firm services global assets of approximately 2.2 trillion dollars and employs 5,100 people in 22 countries.
