Anouk Slock
Anouk Slock has started as sales director for Belgium & Luxembourg at Nordea Investment Management, as she writes on LinkedIn. She had already been working for Nordea for the past four years, first as sales manager for Belgium and recently as head of ESG distribution for Western Europe.
Slock studied economics in Antwerp and Brussels and previously worked in sales positions for Degroof Petercam Asset Management and Blackrock.
Johan van den Berg named Group CEO of FJMF
AnaCap has named Johan van den Berg as Group CEO of Fiduciaire Jean-Marc Faber (FJMF), following its recent acquisition of a majority stake in the Luxembourg-based firm. Van den Berg brings more than 20 years of experience in financial services, including over a decade leading Trustmoore in Luxembourg.
He will work alongside Jean-Marc Faber and the management team to drive FJMF’s growth strategy, combining organic expansion and M&A. Van den Berg said he was drawn by AnaCap’s vision to become a leading player in the consolidating fiduciary services sector.
Palana adds Sabrina Benyagoub as partner
Specialised AIFM advisory Palana has appointed Sabrina Benyagoub as a partner in its regulatory advisory practice. With over 15 years› experience in asset management, she specialises in AML, financial crime prevention and compliance.
Benyagoub has held leadership roles in Big Four firms and served as head of compliance and AML for a UK private equity group. Her international background includes work in Luxembourg, New York and Paris.
Fortino boosts VC team with Bain hire
Olivier Lippens has joined Fortino Capital as investment manager in its Belgian Venture Capital team. He previously spent over three years at Bain & Company in Brussels, leaving the consultancy last month.
Fortino Capital, based in Antwerp-Berchem, focuses on venture capital and private equity, with a European investment strategy centred on fast-growing B2B SaaS and PaaS companies.
PGIM appoints Nisenson to lead asset-based finance
New Jersey-headquartered PGIM Fixed Income has named Oliver Nisenson as head of asset-based finance, a newly created role effective 15 May 2025. He will oversee the global expansion of the firm’s private ABF platform within its 131 billion dollar securitised products business, reporting to co-heads Gabriel Rivera and Edwin Wilches.
With 837 billion dollars under management, PGIM Fixed Income has long invested in private ABF, completing nearly 30 billion dollars in deals with partners such as SoFi, PennyMac and Affirm.
KBC nominates two independent board members
Kristine Braden and Line Hestvik have been nominated by Brussels-headquartered KBC Group as new non-executive, independent directors for its Board of Directors. Their appointment, subject to ECB approval, will be voted on at the next General Meeting of Shareholders.
Braden is a former Citi executive with experience across Europe, North America and Asia. She studied political science at UC Berkeley and completed executive programmes at MIT and the CSIS in Washington.
Hestvik is a seasoned insurance and financial services executive with over 25 years of experience in strategic change and operational leadership. A former Allianz Group executive, she holds a Master’s degree in Business and Economics from the BI Norwegian School of Management.
Smit joins Oceanside to lead Benelux growth
Oceanside Financial Services has appointed Bas Smit as Head of Business Development for Belgium and Luxembourg. Based in ‹s-Hertogenbosch, Smit returns to the asset management distribution space following a sabbatical.
He previously spent nearly seven years at Aegon Asset Management in wholesale business development for the Benelux. Earlier roles included senior sales positions at Delta Lloyd AM and Robeco. He began his career in financial advisory at ING in the early 2000s.
Oceanside provides distribution and sales strategy services to asset managers targeting new markets.
Lombard Odier adds senior portfolio manager
Stéphane Denys has joined Lombard Odier as senior portfolio manager within its discretionary and advisory portfolio management team. He made the move last month from Nagelmackers, where he worked for more than seven years, including as Head of Asset Management.
Denys started his career at Candriam and holds Master’s degrees in Business Engineering and Banking & Finance from Ghent University.
Sofindev promotes Bouckaert to investment director
Private equity firm Sofindev has promoted Louise Bouckaert to investment director. Bouckaert joined the firm in 2019 and has played a central role in the growth of portfolio companies including Loyals, Mediagenix, Wopaco and WVT Industries, the firm said in a LinkedIn announcement.
She is also a founding member of Level 20 Belgium, a non-profit organisation dedicated to improving gender diversity in private equity.
