Eschborn, Germany-based Eurex Clearing AG has appointed Laura Bayley as chief executive officer, effective June 1, 2026. She will join the executive board of the central counterparty and will lead the clearing business within Deutsche Börse Group.

Bayley joins from SIX Group, where she has served since 2022 as head of clearing services and chief executive officer of SIX x-clear AG, the group’s Swiss central counterparty. She previously held senior roles at SIX x-clear and BME Clearing, focusing on regulatory strategy, legal affairs and integration projects. Bayley began her career at a Swiss law firm after completing a dual degree in law and Chinese studies.

PGIM 

PGIM has appointed Sunita Kara and Andre Klotz as portfolio managers in its European leveraged finance team. They will oversee European and global leveraged finance mandates, as well as high yield and bank loan portfolios. Both report to Jonathan Butler, head of European leveraged finance.

Kara joins from Aviva Investors, where she was co-head of global high yield and responsible for global high yield credit portfolios across several funds. Earlier, she worked as a senior credit analyst at Standard & Poor’s Global Ratings and as an analyst at the UK Treasury. She has 25 years of industry experience.

Klotz previously served as co-head of EMEA high yield trading and strategy at Jefferies. Over 19 years in finance, he also held senior roles at SC Lowy, Alva Capital and Partners Group. PGIM’s credit platform manages more than 1 trillion dollars, including 115 billion dollars in global leveraged credit.

Franklin Templeton

Franklin Templeton has appointed Ehsan Khan as institutional sales director for Germany, effective March 1, 2026. Based in Frankfurt, he will focus on serving insurance companies and investment consultants. The position has been newly created to expand client coverage and develop strategic partnerships in the German institutional market.

Khan joins from Blackrock. Franklin Templeton said the appointment supports the continued build-out of its institutional distribution capabilities in Germany.

Janus Henderson

Janus Henderson Investors has appointed Mia Söderberg as client portfolio manager for emerging markets debt. Based in Copenhagen, she will serve as the main contact for clients, consultants and distribution partners globally for the firm’s emerging markets debt strategies. She reports to Kareena Moledina, lead client portfolio manager EMEA. The appointment forms part of Janus Henderson’s plan to expand local expertise in EMEA amid growing demand for specialist investment capabilities.

Söderberg has more than 20 years of experience in fund selection and performance analysis. She previously served as senior manager for asset manager selection at Munich Re Group Investment Management, where emerging markets debt was a focus area. She holds a Master of Science in business and economics from Uppsala University.

Metzler

Metzler Corporate Finance has appointed Sven Wiesenthal as director in Frankfurt, effective January. He will focus on advising family offices, foundations and family holding companies, while also supporting the expansion of the firm’s advisory work with industrial companies. According to the bank, Wiesenthal joins as an addition to the existing team and does not replace a predecessor.

Wiesenthal previously worked at Deutsche Bank and earlier at M.M. Warburg. Over 12 years in investment banking, he advised private and listed companies as well as financial investors on transactions. Metzler said the role reflects growing demand from family offices for direct investments and from family-owned businesses seeking long-term capital partners.

Fidelity International 

Fidelity International has appointed Elly Irving as director of stewardship, based in London. She will support the firm’s corporate engagement activities across EMEA and the Americas, focusing on environmental, social and governance issues. Irving reports to Flora Wang, head of stewardship.

Irving brings nearly 20 years of experience in asset management, sustainability and stewardship. Irving joins from Lazard Asset Management, where she was director of stewardship, and previously served as head of engagement at Schroders.

Blueorchard Finance

Lucas van Berkestijn has been appointed global head of business development at Blueorchard Finance in Zurich, he wrote on Linkedin. He joins from Susi Partners, where he spent six years as head of fundraising for the Benelux, the Nordics and the United Kingdom. Susi Partners is also based in Switzerland.

Earlier in his career, Van Berkestijn held roles at RobecoSam and Asset4. He began his career at ABN Amro, where he worked from 1994 to 2005, including at the former ABN Amro Rothschild.

Teciem

Michel Daenen has been appointed senior director and global head of solution consulting at Teciem, a treasury and capital markets technology consultancy. He will lead the firm’s solution consulting activities across the Americas, Europe, the Middle East and Africa, and Asia-Pacific, overseeing strategic execution, governance and end-to-end delivery.

Daenen previously held senior leadership roles at Finastra, Misys, Sophis and Reuters. Earlier in his career, he worked at Dexia and Banque Internationale à Luxembourg. His experience spans fintech, banking, treasury and capital markets, with a focus on global solution consulting and multi-regional team leadership.

Aqua for All 

Daniel Moreno has joined Aqua for All as senior investment manager, he announced on Linkedin. Aqua for All is an international foundation that connects businesses, financiers and governments around innovative and sustainable water projects in Asia and Africa.

Moreno most recently worked at PCG Impact as a manager selection specialist. Before that, he spent three years at Phenix Capital Group in a similar role. Earlier in his career, he worked at Itaú Unibanco in São Paulo and as a financial adviser at Squad Capital Investimentos.
