Schroders

Schroders has appointed Dan Morris as head of investment, public markets, a newly created role aimed at accelerating innovation and scaling its client-focused investment solutions across global public markets. Morris, who previously worked at Schroders from 2013 to 2017, will rejoin the firm on January 5, 2026, and report directly to group chief investment officer Johanna Kyrklund.

Morris brings extensive experience in quantitative investing and technology-driven portfolio strategies, having held senior roles at Wells Fargo Asset Management and Allspring Global Investments. At Allspring, he led global systematic investments and managed the firm’s UK operations. At Schroders, Morris will focus on unifying capabilities across strategic modeling, asset allocation, derivatives, quantitative techniques, and sustainable investing, leveraging technologies such as AI to enhance client customization.

DNCA Finance

French asset manager DNCA Finance has opened its first office in Spain and appointed portfolio managers Fabio Di Giansante and Lorenzo Angelini to lead European equity strategies from the new Madrid base. The firm, founded in 2000 and affiliated with Natixis Investment Managers, announced the appointments on 25 November, following the managers’ start on 18 November.

Di Giansante and Angelini bring a combined four decades of experience, having worked together previously at Amundi on eurozone equity strategies. Di Giansante, formerly head of European equities at Amundi, managed over 13 billion euro in assets and was named a top-three European equity manager by Morningstar in 2011. Angelini, who most recently worked at Bell Rock Capital Management, began his investment career at Pioneer.

Loomis Sayles

Dilawer Farazi has rejoined Loomis Sayles, also part of the Natixis group, as co-head and portfolio manager of the emerging markets debt team. He will be the first portfolio manager that works from London.

Farazi has more than twenty years of experience in EM credit. From 2018 to 2020, he worked as a senior credit research analyst at Loomis Sayles. He returns to the company from Royal London Asset Management (RLAM), where he led the emerging markets credit team and managed about 1 billion dollar in EM credit.

Edmond de Rothschild Asset Management

Paris-based Edmond de Rothschild Asset Management has created a dedicated private markets distribution team, naming Robbert Zoet as its new head. The move is part of a broader effort to strengthen the firm’s private markets offering across Europe.

Supporting Zoet in the expansion are Bertie Milward, who becomes head of private market distribution for the Nordics, and Jan Novak, who takes on the same role for Germany. Both will report directly to Zoet.

Robeco

Robeco has appointed Steven de Vries as head of wholesale Europe, effective 1 December. De Vries previously held senior roles at LGIM, where he was head of wholesale Europe and Latin America until mid-2022. Earlier, he spent over 18 years at Henderson Global Investors and Janus Henderson Investors.
