This week’s roundup highlights senior hires and partner promotions across Luxembourg and Europe, including new roles at Belasko, Innpact, Deutsche Bank, Schroders and Loyens & Loeff.
Belasko hire in Luxembourg
Belasko, a Guernsey-based fund and corporate services provider focused on the private capital market, has appointed Richard Marshall to lead its commercial development from Luxembourg as the firm continues to expand its presence in Europe.
Marshall brings more than thirty years of experience in asset management, operations and strategy, including senior roles at BNY and Blackrock. He joins from Carne Group, where he supported investment managers across liquid strategies and private capital while driving commercial activities from Luxembourg.
Greg McKenzie, the firm’s Luxembourg country head, said Marshall joined “at a pivotal time in Belasko’s ambitious growth journey.” Working with local and group leadership, Marshall will lead the firm’s commercial expansion, with a focus on strengthening intermediary relationships among private capital managers across Europe, the firm said in a statement.
Innpact new partners
Innpact, a Luxembourg-based specialist in impact-finance services and a registered alternative investment fund manager (AIFM), has named Sigridur Torfadottir and Antoine de Martel as partners of Innpact SA, effective October 2025. Both are members of the firm’s management committee and have played central roles in its shift from an advisory business to a broader impact-finance management platform.
Torfadottir, who joined the firm in 2013, has held several senior positions and was key to strengthening the group’s AIFM business in 2023 and 2024. De Martel joined Innpact in 2021 and serves as chief financial officer.
Co-founders Patrick Goodman and Arnaud Gillin said the appointments formalize the leadership roles Torfadottir and de Martel already play and will support the firm’s mission to scale its impact in an increasingly demanding environment.
Loyens & Loeff partners
Law firm Loyens & Loeff has added seven new partners following appointments made at the firm’s annual shareholders’ meeting on 28 November. The promotions span dispute resolution, tax, real estate, funds and corporate work.
The new partners are: Marit Bosselaar (dispute resolution, Netherlands), Kévin Emeraux (direct tax, Luxembourg), Aldo Engels (direct tax, Belgium), Jan-Willem Kunen (direct tax, Netherlands), Julien Lecler (real estate, Luxembourg/Belgium), Maude Royer (funds, Luxembourg) and Eline Viersen (corporate/M&A, Netherlands).
Deutsche Bank hire
Deutsche Bank has appointed Cassandra von Sprecher as global head of agency securities lending sales. Based in London, she will lead the bank’s global sales team for securities lending, cash investment and principal solutions. She will report to Zorawar Singh, global head of agency securities lending and head of corporate bank Middle East.
Von Sprecher joins from State Street, where she spent more than ten years in business development, trading and product roles across the U.S. and EMEA. Most recently, she served as EMEA head of financing solutions sales and client management, overseeing the firm’s agency securities lending, prime brokerage and repo financing activities.
Schroders ETF lead
Schroders has appointed Tom Stephens as its first head of exchange-traded funds, a newly created role to support the firm’s expansion in active ETFs. He will join on 5 January 2026.
Stephens moves from J.P. Morgan Asset Management, where he spent eight years as international head of ETF capital markets. In his new role, he will be responsible for developing and executing the group’s global ETF strategy across product, infrastructure, distribution and client engagement. He will report to Matt Oomen, global head of client group.
The appointment comes as Schroders’ global ETF franchise surpasses one billion dollars in assets under management and follows the launch of the firm’s first two active ETFs in Europe earlier this year.
