Personal data of customers and visitors alike are treated and protected with the utmost care. Under all circumstances, IPI complies with the requirements of the Law on Protection of Privacy in terms of Processing of Personal Data.
Consumption data
Each server (www, wap, ftp, smtp, pop3, news- and chat servers) used to log in to, will register generic data about consumption, telephone number, IP-address, log in and log out time (session duration) and the amount of information transferred. IPI will then use this information at an aggregated level to manage its services and to be able to assess what people are interested in so that we can align our services even better with the wishes of our users.
Personal and non-personal information
Via its website, investmentofficer.lu, IPI collects personal information about its users. We do not collect nor use that information, except after explicit permission of these users, who register on the website for that purpose. IPI uses these data to implement the corresponding agreement, for all its other services and to inform customers of (new) products and services from IPI or from carefully selected third parties. When you contact an Investment Officer call centre, either via telephone or e-mail, it is possible we collect and process some personal data. In order to guarantee the highest possible quality of our service, it is also possible that phone calls with an Investment Officer call centre employee are recorded and afterwards listened to.
