PwC Luxembourg is enhancing its real estate capabilities with the addition of new partner Pierre Wauthier, a veteran with over two decades of experience in Luxembourg’s real estate and deal markets. Wauthier joins the firm after three years at law firm Arendt & Medernach, which had joined in 2020 after nine years at PwC.

In a high-profile executive shuffle, Pierre Jond has been named the new Chief Executive Officer of Amundi Luxembourg, and chairman of Fund Channel, the B2B fund distribution platform jointly owned by Amundi and Caceis. The appointment took effect on September 1. 

Jond succeeds Jeanne Duvoux, who is transitioning to a new role as Head of Business Support & Operations for Amundi Group, Europe’s biggest asset manager with approximately 2,000 billion euro in assets under management.

Liam Healey 

Liam Healy (photo) has been appointed as chief executive officer at FE fundinfo, a specialist in  investment fund data and technology, effective 4 September 2023. FE fundinfo is the parent company of Fundsquare, a Luxembourg provider of fund distribution services.

Van de Cloot est économiste en chef chez Itinera et professeur à l’Antwerp Management School. Ces dernières années, il s’est distingué en critiquant vivement la politique et les budgets du gouvernement belge.

Arendt Services SA’s former secretary general and management committee member Marie Druinaud has left the law firm to start her own working venture as a consultant focusing in compliance and liquidation matters and as an independent director, interim manager and liquidator.

Moventum has announced the appointment of Louis Wright as the new CEO of the Luxembourg-based financial services company, following confirmation by the CSSF. With his extensive background in the industry, Wright is set to spearhead Moventum’s provision of top-notch investment and wealth management solutions across Europe.

Wright replaces Sabine Said, who left the firm in March to set up her own consultancy business, Scharzberg Sarl.

Wim Henneman, qui est à l’origine de la création du gestionnaire d’actifs gantois Value Square, fonde Fince.

Il a publié cette information sur Linkedin. Wim Henneman a travaillé pendant plus de 16 ans chez Value Square, dont il a été l’un des premiers associés.

Value Square a été l’un des gestionnaires d’actifs à obtenir une licence de la FSMA en 2007, après une longue période.

Thierry Smets, l’ancien administrateur délégué de NewB, quitte ses fonctions. C’est ce que rapporte De Tijd. 

La nouvelle banque éthique a connu des débuts difficiles, ce qui a contribué à annoncer le départ de Smets. Il a travaillé dans le secteur financier pour des entreprises telles que Puilaetco Dewaay et Nagelmackers. Un certain nombre de membres du conseil d’administration et du comité exécutif quittent également leurs fonctions.
