This week’s overview of people moves in the investment industry includes new leadership appointments at Zedra, Cube Infrastructure Managers, River Global and more.
Cube IM
Cube Infrastructure Managers, based in Luxembourg, has appointed Julie Bonamy Racine as partner and head of France. She joins from construction giant Saint-Gobain, where she held senior leadership roles across Canada, Southeast Asia and Paris. At Cube IM, Bonamy Racine will lead French operations and expand the firm’s partnerships in a core geography. Her public and private sector experience aligns with Cube’s focus on infrastructure assets including telecoms, energy transition and mobility.
Align
Manuela Froehlich has been appointed as head of fundraising and investor relations at Align, a Brussels-headquartered specialist in financing film and television productions. Align has raised more than 650 million euro from some 500 projects and offers investors access to private debt in the media sector. Froehlich will be based in Zurich. She previously worked in Luxembourg, Frankfurt and London.
Zedra
Zedra, the global provider of fiduciary, corporate and fund services, has promoted Jon McKay to group general counsel. Since joining in early 2023 as group head of legal, McKay has led the firm’s legal transformation and now takes on expanded responsibilities, including strategic legal oversight for its 1,400 employees across the Americas, Europe and Asia. He remains part of the executive committee and continues to act as the group’s data protection lead and board secretary.
River Global
In the UK, River Global has strengthened its board following the acquisition of Devon Equity Management. Simon Troughton, Chairman of Devon, joins River Global as a non-executive director, while Richard Pavry, CEO of Devon, becomes executive director. Pavry has signed a service agreement extending to 2026, with non-compete clauses applying post-termination. Troughton joins on a one-year term. Their appointments formalise Devon’s integration and provide governance continuity post-acquisition.
