Britta Borneff named director of communications at Alfi
Britta Borneff, a former managing director at Fuchs Asset Management, has been appointed as the new director of events, communications and business development at the Association of the Luxembourg Fund Industry, Alfi.
Borneff’s professional career in Luxembourg started in 1996 with Schroders where she worked in marketing and client relationship roles for more than a decade. From 2007 to 2021 she worked as head of sales and marketing at Waystone in Luxembourg. From October 2021 she served at Fuchs, a Luxembourg investment firm,
M&G Asset Management names Joseph Pinto as next CEO
Joseph Pinto will join M&G Asset Management in March as its new chief executive officer, the international savings and investment firm said.
Pinto joins from Natixis Investment Managers and succeeds Jack Daniels who announced his retirement last summer following 21 years of service. At Natixis Pinto served as head of distribution and investment solutions for Europe, Asia and Latin America and as global chief operating Officer.

Manfred Dietrich joins Maples Luxembourg as fund partner
Manfred Dietrich has been appointed as funds and investment management partner at the Luxembourg office of global law firm Maples. He brings more than twenty years of experience in the investment funds, asset management and regulatory industries.
Dietrich joined Maples in November from Norton Rose Fulbright. Maples said his appointment ”follows a period of exceptional growth at the firm and is in direct response to increasing demands for Luxembourg legal services from new and existing international clients.”

Après quatre ans, Dieter Haerens quitte Saxo Belgium, où il occupait le poste de CEO. Il l’a annoncé sur Linkedin. Haerens a occupé le poste de Saxo Belgium pendant quatre ans et a contribué à guider la migration de Binckbank vers la nouvelle plateforme.
Selon ses propres termes, il se prépare à la «nouvelle étape» de sa carrière professionnelle.
Simone Schmitt appointed as counsel at Clifford Chance
Law firm Clifford Chance has appointed Simone Schmitt as counsel in its corporate practice in Luxembourg. Schmitt joins the firm from Linklaters, where she had been for more than seven years.
Schmitt is a qualified lawyer in Luxembourg and has extensive experience in advising multinational clients on acquisitions, restructurings and joint ventures. She is an expert in managing transactions for private equity players in Europe and the United States, the firm said.
Mousel to succeed Parkhouse as lead partner at PwC Luxembourg
Francois Mousel has been elected as managing partner at PwC Luxembourg to succeed John Parkhouse from next July, the firm announced on Monday.
Parkhouse’s second four-year mandate will come to an end next year. During his tenure, the firm’s turnover rose to 543 million euro in the fiscal year ended 30 June 2022, from 315 million euro in 2014. During that period, PwC Luxembourg added approximately 600 staff, employing 3100 people at the end of last June. PwC is the largest among the big four auditors and consultants in Luxembourg.
Stefan Kreuzkamp quitte DWS
Stefan Kreuzkamp, l’un des piliers de DWS à la tête de la division de gestion d’actifs, quittera le gestionnaire d’actifs allemand cette année.
Ceci a été révélé dans un communiqué de presse. Kreuzkamp a joué un rôle important au sein de l’entreprise, notamment depuis son introduction en bourse en 2018. Il y a travaillé pendant pas moins de 24 ans, ce qui est sans précédent dans ce secteur aujourd’hui.
Olivier Brouwers nouveau CEO Amundi Belgium
Le plus grand gestionnaire d’actifs d’Europe, Amundi, a nommé Olivier Brouwers au poste de directeur général en Belgique. À ce poste, M. Brouwers sera également responsable du développement commercial d’Amundi au Luxembourg.
