In a high-profile executive shuffle, Pierre Jond has been named the new Chief Executive Officer of Amundi Luxembourg, and chairman of Fund Channel, the B2B fund distribution platform jointly owned by Amundi and Caceis. The appointment took effect on September 1. 

Jond succeeds Jeanne Duvoux, who is transitioning to a new role as Head of Business Support & Operations for Amundi Group, Europe’s biggest asset manager with approximately 2,000 billion euro in assets under management.

Liam Healy 

Liam Healy (photo) has been appointed as chief executive officer at FE fundinfo, a specialist in  investment fund data and technology, effective 4 September 2023. FE fundinfo is the parent company of Fundsquare, a Luxembourg provider of fund distribution services.

Arendt Services SA’s former secretary general and management committee member Marie Druinaud has left the law firm to start her own working venture as a consultant focusing in compliance and liquidation matters and as an independent director, interim manager and liquidator.

Moventum has announced the appointment of Louis Wright as the new CEO of the Luxembourg-based financial services company, following confirmation by the CSSF. With his extensive background in the industry, Wright is set to spearhead Moventum’s provision of top-notch investment and wealth management solutions across Europe.

Wright replaces Sabine Said, who left the firm in March to set up her own consultancy business, Scharzberg Sarl.

Etienne Rougier has been appointed as Chief Operating Officer at Universal Investment Group. He joins from Alliance Bernstein. As of this week he is responsible for driving and transforming the business to support its overall growth strategy. 

Luxembourg-based European Depositary Bank, provider of banking, depositary and custody solutions, has named two women to senior leadership: Cecilia Gejke is now managing director and member of the executive management board and Gilda B. Neiman (photo) is now a member of the board of directors.

Financial services provider Apex Group on Monday said it has appointed Tony Alfonso as global head of valuation, a newly created role that will be in charge of valuation advisory services.

PwC Luxembourg has named Baptiste Guionnet as partner. Guionnet will support CEOs, CFOs and other C-level executives on all financial, performance and transformation matters of the finance function.

Until recently he served as partner at Deloitte Luxembourg where he worked for more than six years in the CFO advisory practice. Before joining Deloitte, he worked at Societe Generale and Natixis.

IntReal Luxembourg SA, a subsidiary of property-focused third-party AIF manager IntReal, has added Stephan Schilken, 48, to its management team as a managing director. He will serve in the position of conducting officer and brings to the job decades of experience in Luxembourg’s investment fund and financial sector.
