Mousel to succeed Parkhouse at PwC Luxembourg

Francois Mousel has been elected as managing partner at PwC Luxembourg to succeed John Parkhouse from next July, the firm announced on Monday.

Parkhouse’s second four-year mandate will come to an end next year. During his tenure, the firm’s turnover rose to 543 million euro in the fiscal year ended 30 June 2022, from 315 million euro in 2014. During that period, PwC Luxembourg added approximately 600 staff, employing 3100 people at the end of last June. PwC is the largest among the big four auditors and consultants in Luxembourg.

Aude de Roquancourt joins EY as partner

Aude de Roquancourt has joined EY Luxembourg as a new partner in the accounting compliance and reporting department, the firm said on Thursday.

De Roquancourt previously served as head of fund reporting at EQT Luxembourg and as head of accounting at Societe Generale. She holds a master’s degree in business and management from the EM Lyon Business School, France. She is a certified Six Sigma Black Belt Project Manager and qualified as chartered accountant. 

Credit Suisse hires Quintet’s Purcell for sustainability

Former UBS director James Purcell has left Luxembourg-based private bank Quintet and joined Credit Suisse as head of sustainability. Purcell will report directly to ​​Credit Suisse’s chief sustainability officer, Emma Crystal.

After more than a decade at UBS, Purcell in 2020 joined Quintet as group head of sustainable, thematic and impact investments. At UBS he held similar positions between 2009 and 2020. His appointment at Credit Suisse took effect this month.

Koeken joins Oddo BHF's Benelux sales from Carmignac

Oddo BHF Asset Management said it has strengthened its presence in Benelux with the recruitment of André Koeken as sales manager. He is now in charge of developing the clientele of independent financial advisors and insurance companies in the Benelux. He reports to Dominic Nys, sales manager for Benelux.
