Invesco adds VanEck's Brouwer to Benelux ETF team

Invesco, an asset management firm with a Luxembourg presence in Kirchberg, Invesco Management S.A., said it has expanded its Benelux operation with the hire of a new ETF sales manager.

Jolien Brouwer has joined the Invesco Benelux team as ETF sales manager, based in the Amsterdam office. Previously Brouwer was responsible for the ETF sales at VanEck. She will report to Roel Thijssen, Head of Benelux Distribution.

Barry partner at Maples, Mouzon head of ECM Amundi

Law firm Maples and Calder has announced the promotion of nine of its senior lawyers in Europe, including the appointment of Michelle Barry as partner in its Luxembourg funds and investment management practice. Amundi announced the creation of its first Equity Capital Markets desk, to be headed by Luc Mouzon. Capital Group meanwhile has appointed Kat Ferris to the newly created role of Head of Product Development for Europe and Asia. 

People: JPM AM and BLI boost their sustainability teams

In the Luxembourg transfer market, Banque de Luxembourg Investments and JP Morgan Asset Management both announced that they have strengthened their sustainable investing teams. Consultancy EY meanwhile said it has created a new Luxembourg team dedicated to the public sector.

Roland Rott and Soňa Stadtelmeyer-Petru (pictured) have joined JP Morgan’s sustainable investing team. Both hires will report to JPM’s Global Head of Sustainable Investing, Jennifer Wu.

Transfers: Fundsquare, Luxembourg Stock Exchange, Intertrust

Fundsquare, a subsidiary of the Luxembourg Stock Exchange that provides services to support and standardise cross-border distribution of investment funds, has made two leadership appointments. It’s parent company the Luxembourg Stock Exchange has appointed a new head of sustainable finance, and Intertrust has a new head of its Luxembourg office.

Fundsquare named Jeffrey Nadal as its new managing director and chief commercial officer, and appointed Julien Renkin as a director of product management & client solutions.

Allfunds hires Stéphane Corsaletti for Lux office

Stéphane Corsaletti is the new Chief Investment Officer of fund distribution platform Allfunds. The Frenchman will lead Allfunds’ recently formed digital investment solutions platform from its Luxembourg office.

Corsaletti will be part of the executive committee, reporting directly to CEO Juan Alcaraz. Launched in 2000, Allfunds is one of the world’s largest fund distributors. It offers clients access to a universe of over 125,000 funds through Allfunds Connect.
