Benoît van den Hove nouveau CEO Euronext BrusselsBenoît van den Hove (photo de gauche) succède à Vincent Van Dessel (photo de droite) en tant que CEO d’Euronext Brussels et président et membre du comité exécutif d’Euronext Brussels.

Euronext en a fait état dans un communiqué de presse. Van Dessel atteindra l’âge de la retraite en 2023. 

Katharine Dryer takes up new equity role at Capital Group

Katharine Dryer has been appointed at Capital Group in a new London-based role as equity lead, Europe and Asia client group. 

San Francisco-headquartered Capital Group, with assets under management of approximately 2.2 trillion dollars, said Dryer will focus on expanding the firm’s equity distribution strategy and product development roadmap to better serve institutional and intermediary clients across Europe and Asia. 

Lazard names Alexandre Schmitz to Luxembourg unit

Senior private banker Alexandre Schmitz has left Degroof Petercam Luxembourg to join the Luxembourg operation of Lazard Frères Gestion, a French asset management firm which has offered wealth management services in Luxembourg since 2021.

Schmitz will join Lazare’s Luxembourg team as “director – senior private banker”.

“Alexandre’s arrival marks our desire to strengthen our presence in the local market,” said Julien Thibault-Liger, managing director of the firm in Luxembourg.

Britta Borneff named director of communications at Alfi

Britta Borneff, a former managing director at Fuchs Asset Management, has been appointed as the new director of events, communications and business development at the Association of the Luxembourg Fund Industry, Alfi. 

Borneff’s professional career in Luxembourg started in 1996 with Schroders where she worked in marketing and client relationship roles for more than a decade. From 2007 to 2021 she worked as head of sales and marketing at Waystone in Luxembourg. From October 2021 she served at Fuchs, a Luxembourg investment firm,

M&G Asset Management names Joseph Pinto as next CEO

Joseph Pinto will join M&G Asset Management in March as its new chief executive officer, the international savings and investment firm said.

Pinto joins from Natixis Investment Managers and succeeds Jack Daniels who announced his retirement last summer following 21 years of service. At Natixis Pinto served as head of distribution and investment solutions for Europe, Asia and Latin America and as global chief operating Officer.

La banque privée mondiale Quintet, basée au Luxembourg, a remanié la direction de ses succursales au Luxembourg et en Allemagne après une série de départs à la fin de l’année dernière, dont celui du CEO Europe Thomas Rodermann, l’un des quelques anciens cadres d’UBS qui ont rejoint la banque ces dernières années.
